Thanks to everyone who attended our Go Local dinner this past Saturday night. In addition to the great local food prepared by Chef Duck we had some fantastic wine pairings. We want to give a shout out to Susan Braswell with Prime Wine and Spirits for her help in putting it all together. Some of you have requested a list of the pairings and the dishes we served with them. I will post the entire menu with pairings later this week, so stay tuned!
Monday, October 16 Apple Bacon Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup Our traditional Grilled Cheese sandwich on your choice of bread with Georgia Apple and thick cut Apple Wood Smoked Bacon. Served with a bowl of our Tomato Bisque.
Tuesday, October 17 Warm Chicken Sandwich with Spinach and Mushrooms Roast Chicken Breast on your choice of bread topped with sauteed' Mushrooms, Spinach, and melted Provolone. Served with your choice of side.
Wednesday, October 18 Butternut Squash Pasta Penne Pasta with oven roasted Butternut Squash, Cranberries, toasted Walnuts, and Goat Cheese. It's finally Fall Ya'll.
Thursday, October 19 Shrimp Po Gal Fresh wild caught Gulf Shrimp, on our toasted Baguette with house made Remoulade, Oven Fries, and Slaw.
Friday, October 20 Steak and 3 or Just 3 Flat Iron Steak, pan roasted and served with Squash Casserole, Charred Broccoli with Cheese Sauce, and Mashed Sweet Potatoes. No Steak? No Problem.
Saturday, October 21 Cream Cheese Scramble Scrambled Eggs with Cream Cheese and Chives, served with our house made Challah toast, and your choice of Bacon, Chicken, or Veggie Sausage, and Grits or Potatoes. Add a side of our Cured Salmon for a little more.
